Barbara Fluder, OD
Dr. Barbara Fluder joined Helix Eye Care in June 2026. Dr. Fluder graduated with honors from St. Bonaventure University with a Bachelor of Science in 1989. She then went on to graduate with honors from the Indiana University School of Optometry in 1993. She has been practicing for over 30 years and was a clinical examiner for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO). She has numerous publications and is on the editorial advisory panel for Optometry Times magazine.
In addition to being a member of the American Optometric Association and Indiana Optometric Association, Dr. Fluder is also a member of Delta Theta Tau, a national philanthropic organization. She is married with 1 dog and 1 cat. She enjoys gardening, cooking, biking, spending time with her dog and cat, and is a huge Buffalo Bills fan.
