Micro-Incisional Glaucoma Surgery
Glaucoma surgery has undergone a revolution in the last 5 years with the introduction of Micro-Incisional Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS). MIGS procedures can often be done more quickly than traditional glaucoma surgery and through a smaller incision, leading to faster recovery and less trauma to the eye. Dr. Wang is the only fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist in northwest Indiana offering a full complement of MIGS procedures. MIGS procedures performed by Dr. Wang include: iStent, Ab-Interno Canaloplasty, Cypass, Kahook Double Blade Goniotomy, and Xen Gel Stent implants. Dr. Wang is also the only physician in northwest Indiana with the Cyclo G6 Glaucoma Laser with Micropulse, the latest diode laser that is appropriate for both very severe as well as more moderate glaucoma.
